Submissions
We love receiving submissions year-round of real-life weddings, rehearsal dinners, proposals, engagement shoots, showers, going-away brunches, plus inspiration shoots of the same as long as they occurred in Asheville and its surrounding counties (see the county list below). We use the same submissions process for our print and our blog. Thanks so much for thinking of us. We can’t wait to see what you’ll share!
*Asheville Wedding Guide’s footprint includes the following counties: Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Jackson, Swain, Macon, Haywood, Transylvania, Henderson, Buncombe, Madison, McDowell, Polk, Rutherford, Burke, Caldwell, and Catawba.
Asheville Wedding Guide is all about local Asheville inspiration and we love to feature a variety of weddings. We especially love weddings that are simple and sophisticated with meaningful and thoughtful details.

Part of a couple’s Big Day story is about the team that got them down the aisle and to their sparkler exit from the reception. And as a guide, we strive to introduce newly engaged couples to these superior vendors (and venues) that show off the best of Asheville and the surrounding area. Thus, when submitting a wedding or other nuptial event or styled shoot, please share the complete list of vendors—venue, planner, photographer, caterer, attire, rentals, music, lighting, florals, specialty transportation, etc.—for crediting.
*Note: Before sharing any event or wedding, obtain written permission from the couple, and ensure they will be available for our writers and fact-checking staff.
We accept submissions for styled shoots and wedding-related parties. Please follow the submission guidelines for Real Weddings.
We feature a limited selection of engagement sessions for publication. Please follow the submission guidelines for Real Weddings.

Other publications and blogs often include the Asheville area on their pages and sites—who can blame them? It’s gorgeous here and talent abounds! However, to ensure that we are serving our readers well by bringing them fresh material, we prefer to publish weddings and wedding-related events and content that have not been published elsewhere. Questions? Please contact Asheville Wedding Guide editor Hannah Chillag.
