25 Jun Samantha & Jeff {The Conservatory at Biltmore}
Alright, first things first on this balmy Monday morning. Can we talk about some #serioushairgoals? This Conservatory at Biltmore wedding, featured in the newly released Asheville Wedding Guide, is all types of gorgeousness but what stopped me dead in my tracks was bride Samantha’s (a Cali girl, might I add) not one, but two, hairstyles. That fishtail braid by Bride’s Best Friend Bridal Artistry is just plain perfect and the flower crown and cascading curls, sigh, dreamy as all get-out. This duo, Sam’s hubby is named Jeff by the way, met through his cousin during a family trip to Universal Studios in 2014. The twosome hit it off immediately, (“Everyone in the car on the drive down to Florida teased me that I would like Jeff because of our similar taste in music,” says Sam), and lo and behold, they were right. They dated two-and-a-half years before Jeff proposed while kayaking out on the Pacific Ocean. Since planning a wedding out-of-state can be daunting, Sam and Jeff brought on Maura Scarmack from Honey Darling Events to plan a “minimalist, clean, bohemian, garden-style, Jane Austen” Big Day that Samantha had always envisioned. And if these snaps by Michelle Lyerly are any indication of how well the day played out, then safe to say, we are absolutely smitten. Pick up a copy of the new guide to see more and read more about this cool couple.
