25 Jul Molly & Colton {Brown Farm Events}
Molly and Colton have an *extra cute* introduction to one another, at least we think so. Molly first laid eyes on Colton in an Asheville Ingles Market (she the cashier, he the customer) as he was being rung up for groceries. Coincidence or not (we think definitely not), Colton kept returning to the grocery and appearing in Molly’s checkout line, learning more and more about her each exchange. What he was purchasing? We know not but what we do know is that they struck up a friendship and Colton soon asked for Miss Molly’s digits. Four years and many adventurous dates later (Molly and Colton both love to hike), they found themselves on yet another hike on the Blue Ridge Parkway, this time with something sparkly involved. “The funny part about the proposal is that I wasn’t feeling so great that day and halfway through the hike, I asked to turn around and go home. So glad my girlfriend convinced me to keep on going and I’m glad she did as she was able to be witness to our proposal.” After a yes from Molly, the couple started planning away and envisioned a rustic, boho, al fresco wedding with cool breezes and pretty fall foliage. And that they did achieve. We adore the dramatic florals filled with burgundy and and blush hues, the sweet wooden cross that stood as their altar, and Molly’s whimsy Wildflower bridal gown that complemented the setting oh-so perfectly. Just look at that twirl. And our most favorite part of the day? That precious smile from Molly when she first sees her father. Seriously melting over here. Thank goodness Gabrielle von Heyking was there to capture every endearing moment.
