Now here is a styled shoot that will definitely have you seeing stars—both literally and figuratively. When local wedding shutterbug Gabrielle von Heyking sent this our way we knew immediately that we would have to share it with you all. It’s just too special and too innovative not to. Filled with equal parts bohemian and celestial (is our opening sentence making sense now?) this shoot has inspiration aplenty for those brides-to-be out there looking for a less than traditional spin on her wedding. Sure, pastel palettes will never go out of style (you know it’s true) but brides who desire a deeper, moodier color palette need some love, too and lo and behold, here it is. Gabrielle, along with Taylor Gregg from Chestnut Ridge styled this shoot to a T. From the dreamy, marbled effect running along the periphery of the stationery (kudos, Joy Unscripted) to the constellation cake speckled with gold to the unique geometric design of the wedding ring (oh me, oh my!) this shoot is as dreamy as it comes. And that dusting of snow? Divine. “Who doesn’t look up to the night sky and feel inspired by its beauty and vastness?” says Gabrielle. Too true, too true.
